Custard apple, also known as na fruit, is widely grown across Vietnam. However, Tay Ninh is considered the capital of custard apples, with tens of hectares of specialized cultivation land.
The fruit is medium to large in size. When unripe, its skin is firm and smooth, and as it ripens, the eyes of the fruit open wide, allowing the skin to be easily peeled by hand.
The flavor of Ba Den custard apples stands out compared to other regions, with sweeter, softer, slightly chewy flesh and no gritty texture.
Currently, Ba Den custard apples are cultivated not only for domestic consumption but also for export globally. With VietGAP cultivation standards, the quality of the fruit is not only assured but also extremely safe for consumers.

Storage and Usage:

Unripe custard apples should be stored at room temperature in a dry, well-ventilated place. They will ripen in 1-3 days.
Note: Do not store unripe custard apples in the refrigerator.
When ripe, the skin turns pale green, the eyes expand, and the fruit feels soft to the touch. Wrap the fruit in newspaper or plastic wrap and store it in the refrigerator for 2-4 days.
